The more you spend in Babylon Village, the more chances you get to win prizes in Babylon.
That’s the plan for the 10th annual Small Business Saturday, set for Nov. 30 in the downtown business district.
During the event, which is sponsored by the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, patrons will receive raffle tickets for places they spend $50 or more at.
“We are making a huge raffle basket from participating merchants valued at hundreds of dollars,” wrote Kelly Peckholdt, the chamber’s president on Facebook.
All raffles will be collected up until 4 p.m. at Positions Dance Studio at 264 Deer Park Avenue.
In addition to winning prizes, the day is meant to promote local businesses as the holiday season approaches.
“Shop small, eat local, and help your community thrive,” reads an ad created by the chamber promoting the event.
