Wonder’s rapid Long Island expansion continues with Plainview lease deal

|

Wonder is cooking up yet a fourth location on Long Island.

The fast-growing food hall and delivery concept just signed a lease at Woodbury Plaza in Plainview, according to Breslin Realty, which announced the deal Monday.

This would marks Wonder’s third confirmed location that’s in the works for Long Island, joining one that recently opened in Melville and two more planned for Deer Park and Holbrook.

Wonder is known for offering dishes from more than 20 award-winning chefs and restaurants — all under one roof.

Diners can mix and match from spots like Bobby Flay Steak, Di Fara Pizza, SriPraPhai, Chios Taverna by Michael Symon, and Tejas Barbecue, and get their order delivered in about 35 minutes on average, according to the company’s website.

Everything is made to order and delivered within 30 minutes. There are also pick-up and limited dine-in options at the Melville storefront, though each location is slightly different.

The new Plainview location will take up about 3,500 square feet at 445 S. Oyster Bay Road, within the same shopping center that houses Trader Joe’s, TJ Maxx, The French Workshop, Trek Bicycles, CVS and more.

Robert Delavale of the Breslin Organization arranged and negotiated the lease for the landlord, the announcement reads.

In Holbrook, Wonder has signed a lease for space at the new Shops at SunVet, which is being built out on the north side of Sunrise Highway, at the former SunVet Mall property.

The Deer Park location is coming to a former Boston Market at 1605 Deer Park Avenue. That location is expected to open in August 2025, according to Wonder. Wonder currently operates nearly 50 locations across the Northeast, including NYC, Westchester, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.
