Roosevelt Field shoppers can now indulge in traditional Italian chocolates and gelato flavors at Venchi.
The global brand opened its doors Saturday at the Long Island mall, situated on the main floor between Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and Cohen’s Fashion Optical.
“Venchi creations are crafted with Italian mastery and incorporate 100% natural ingredients for well-being (no palm oil, low sugar, gluten-free, and mostly vegan),” reads a description of the shop on Roosevelt’s website.
Silviano Venchi founded the brand in Turin, Italy, in 1878. Today, Venchi boasts a repertoire of over 250 chocolate recipes and offers 90 flavors of gelato. The brand prides itself on everything being made in Italy, as stated on Venchi’s website.
With more than 175 stores spread across 70 countries, the Roosevelt Field location marks the seventh Venchi establishment in New York and the first on the Island. Additionally, another location is slated to open soon in NYC along Seventh Avenue.
