N. Patchogue firefighters promise best haunted house yet, starting Friday

|

The North Patchogue Fire Department has announced a brand-new haunted house attraction that has been moved from private property and over to the firehouse.

And the firefighters are promising even bigger scares than ever before in North Patchogue.

“The North Patchogue Fire Department has done haunted houses in the past, but this year they are partnering with Hell House Productions, which started has a home haunt in Medford and has been given the opportunity to expand,” said volunteer Andew Garris. “We are very excited for this Halloween season and hoping to get as many people in the community to come visit us for scares.”

The NPFD House of Horrors opens its doors at 7 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 5, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., and every Friday and Saturday night in October (same times). The firehouse is located at 33 Davidson Avenue (map below). It’s $15 for kids and $20 for the adults.

“With the growing amount of people attending our home haunt every year, it has become difficult to keep in front of a home on private property,” reads the Facebook post dated Sept. 21.

“Thanks to the wonderful men and women of the North Patchogue Fire Department we will have adequate space and parking for everyone who would like to attend. As well as room for a much bigger walk through with better scares!”

The haunted house also serves as a fundraiser for the fire department.
