Tickets are still available for the Fall Breakfast Crawl on Saturday in downtown Patchogue.
To the uninitiated, the biannual Breakfast Crawl isn’t unlike a typical bar crawl. But instead of bopping down Main Street in search of beer, wine and cocktails, attendees get to sample breakfast items from local restaurants.
This year, 13 eateries are getting involved, with 10 retailers offering discounts to crawlers.

After that, there will be some tickets available the day-of.
“If it’s not raining, we’re going to be selling tickets outside of The Colony Shop” at 31 East Main Street, said the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce’s executive director, David Kennedy. “If it is raining, we’ll be set up outside of the [nearby] Patchogue Theatre.”
“But this is a rain or shine event,” he stressed. “Most of it is indoors.”
The crawl starts at 9 a.m. and runs to noon.
The Breakfast Crawl was the idea of Chamber of Commerce member and local artist and military veteran, Dave Rogers.
The first crawl was held in Patchogue in 2016, with several held here since.
Even downtown Port Jefferson has gotten in on the action, hosting its own crawl in March.
In the past, some of the Patchogue crawls carried costume themes, such as Star Wars.
For Saturday, Kennedy said it’s just a fall-themed crawl. “If people want to dress up like a scarecrow, or in a Halloween costume, be our guest,” he said.
The crawls also raise funds for community efforts.
Saturday’s proceeds will got to the chamber’s restaurant committee.
