Bellone invites residents to Feb. 7 franchising workshop in Hauppauge

Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone and the Suffolk County Department of Labor, Licensing & Consumer Affairs invites residents to participate in a Career Quest on franchising on Tuesday, Feb.7.

Kensington Company representative Stuart Levenberg will present the workshop on franchising opportunities and successful franchise career development. 

“This is a great way to learn more about franchising as a way to embark on a new career,” Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone said. “We are happy to help residents to expand or develop new skills to succeed in our economy.”

Among the topics to be explored are: finding the freedom and control of owning a business; financial security and independence; how to find the right franchise; how to research opportunities and how to finance a franchise. 

“Franchising: Making the Right Choice,” will be presented at  9:30 a.m. the Suffolk County One Stop Employment Center,  725 Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge, Tuesday, February 7.
