Nicky’s on the Bay, that glowing beacon of hope that summertime will indeed return to Long Island, reopens this Saturday, March 25, owner Nick Parini has confirmed.
The bayfront bar and restaurant that offers rooftop dining and dancing on the Great South Bay is entering its 13th season in Bay Shore — and its third season after a huge expansion.
Last year also marked the first year for the rooftop snack bar.
Nicky’s on the Bay opens at 11:30 a.m. for lunch and will be lit up all night for dinner.
They will also be hosting Happy Hours this year, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Mondays through Fridays with drink specials at the foot of the Bay Shore Marina.
After all the work the past few years, Parini, who lives in Bay Shore, said everything is now in place for the perfect Summer of 2017.
“People can expect the same great food and drinks with the best view anywhere,” he said.
Nicky’s closes each year the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
The bar and restaurant then stays open through the holidays for private catering.
Nicky’s is located at 150 S Clinton Ave in Bay Shore.
