This is from the Bayport-Blue Point Chamber of Commerce, published in its entirety:

The Bayport-Blue Point Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the 15th biennial Expo hosted at the exquisite Bayport Flower Houses (940 Montauk Highway, Bayport, NY 11705) on Wednesday, October 19th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

With over 50 local vendors and organizations attending to showcase and share their products and services, you can learn all about what your town has to offer within minutes from your home.

Seth Needelman, owner of the island-wide celebrated Fish Store in the heart of Bayport says, “It’s a fun night where the whole community gathers under one roof.”

Indeed the Expo is truly an event for the entire town to enjoy!  Both Bayport and Blue Point fire departments will have fire trucks on display (perfect for the family Christmas card photo!).  County legislators, William Lindsay and Robert Calarco will be on hand helping Suffolk County Police Department with IdentiKits.

But if you want to see some “out-of-town” fun in the convenience of your community, Eric’s Adventures will be at the Expo with a menagerie of exotic animals.

In addition to the dozens of raffles from hometown merchants, this year’s Expo will feature a charity dunk tank where you can sink “local celebrities” into a tub full of water!  All proceeds from the raffles held at the Expo night will go towards the BBP Chamber Outreach Fund that supports local charities like the BBP Foundation, SEED, BBP high school scholarships, and community improvement projects.

The grand prize of the evening, generously donated by John Weissman, Cruises, Inc. and Norwegian Cruises is $2,500 (redeemable towards any cruise).  Entry to the top prize raffle is free (just see any chamber member for a ticket to bring Expo night).
