Patchogue Village’s St. Patrick’s Parade is all set for Sunday, March 19.
The festivities get underway with the annual running of the “May the Road Rise to Meet Ye” 5k at 11:55 am. (Registration information below.)
The parade itself starts at Route 112 and East Main Street at noon and ends at West Avenue — on the other side of the village. (Additional details below.)
Local lawyer Tom Keegan, who founded the parade 20 years ago and has run it ever since, is this year’s grand marshal. The Greater Patchogue Foundation’s Cultural Heritage Committee selected Keegan, who was also an original owner of the BrickHouse Brewery.
He’s also a founding partner of Keegan & Keegan; Ross & Rosner.
Contact the chamber of commerce for information on how to congratulate Keegan through the annual “St. PATchogue Wit & Wisdom,” which supports the event.
