SCPD officers from the sixth precinct were out delivering babies yet again.

And yet again, police officer Jon-Erik Negron was involved.

Negron, who was recently named the godfather of a baby he helped deliver last year in a Mount Sinai kitchen, has now helped deliver three babies in his five years on the job, according to the department.

In this most recent emergency, Negron and officers Brian Cann and Karl Allison to a 911 call of a woman giving birth at about 2:20 a.m. at 7 Lisa Lane in Terryville.

The officers assisted Keri Fort, the expectant mother, who gave birth to a baby girl at 2:44 a.m., police said.

The officers were also helped by Terryville Rescue paramedics Gina Kevin, Brett Bader and Chris Meyer.

Fort and her newborn daughter were transported to St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson in good condition, police said.
