Charles Ferraro of Islip was recently named to the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees, according to a hospital announcement.

Charles Ferraro

Ferraro is the founding principal of Bayberry Capital Group, a real estate investment, development and management company in Bay Shore.

Prior to that, he was the founder and CEO of Equity Settlement Services Inc., a leading national provider of title and settlement services.

“I am honored to join the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation Board, and not just in thanks to the medical center’s role in helping to birth my five beautiful and healthy children,” Ferraro said in a statement. “I humbly believe in the Catholic faith, Catholic education and Catholic Health Services, and hope to help grow the healing mission of Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.”

Born and raised in Bay Shore, Ferraro and his wife Jeanine are devoted parishioners of St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, according to the hospital.

They each also serve on the St. Patrick’s School Board, St. John the Baptist Development Board and the Mercy Haven Advisory Board.
