This July 25, Jaws heads back to the big screen at the Boulton Center

|

You can pregame with a six-pack of Narragansett and head to the theater to watch Jaws like old times on Wednesday, July 25.

All thanks to GreaterBayShore.com and the Boulton Center’s Classic ’80s Movies on the Big Screen series in Bay Shore.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Boulton Center on Main Street. Click here for tickets, which are just $8 each.

JAWS is the fourth installment of the year’s first series, which will be followed up with four more movie nights in the fall and winter, culminating with National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

The year’s spring and summer series kicked off March 14 with Fast Times at Ridgemont High, then Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (April 18) and Weird Science (June 27).

Jaws is screened every July as part of the series, and coincides with The Discovery Channel’s Shark Week.

For those who might not be getting the Narragansett reference, that’s the choice beer of Quint, the brew-chugging shark hunter in the Stephen Spielberg movie classic.

“What better way to mark Shark Week, when the whole country goes crazy over these amazing animals, than to sit in the air-conditioned Boulton Center while returning to the ocean with Jaws?” asked GreaterBayShore publisher Michael White.

“I hope to see you there!”
