Some lucky local has won nearly $67,000 playing Take 5 through the New York Lottery at a convenience store on Montauk Highway in Brookhaven Hamlet, lottery officials announced Thursday.
The ticket was sold at F &S Father and Son at 2815 Montauk Highway, just west of the town dog park.
The big winner matched five of five winning numbers, good for exactly $66,923.50.
In addition to that, 168 players purchased tickets that won them $597.50 each by getting four of five numbers in the May 4 drawing, through which there were 82,936 winners, officials said.
The winning numbers were 17-20-26-32-35.
It was not clear if the jackpot winning ticket has been redeemed.
