“Despite the rain it was a great success,” said the crawls’ founder, Dave Rogers, also a local artist. “We had about 208 people walking around enjoying breakfast. We had a new addition with Gallo joining in the fun. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits and really appreciated the work done by the restaurants.”

Also for the latest installment of the bi-annual crawl, supported by the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, over a dozen retailers opened their doors to crawlers looking for deals.

“A big thank you to all the retailers who offered discounts,” Rogers said.

The crawl generated about $5,600, with the $5,300 in profits helping to fund the arts festival.
