Hundreds of food lovers headed to the fifth annual Taste of Patchogue at New Village on Thursday, where they were treated to a seemingly endless amount of samples from over a dozen local restaurants.
And, it was probably the nicest day of spring.
The food is donated by the restaurants each year. This year the lineup included the coming soon I Heart Mac & Cheese. All the proceeds go to Patchogue Neighbors Soup Kitchens, Inc., which operates five soup kitchen in the area.
