The month-long Fall Harvest returns to Brightwaters Farms starting Sept. 29

|

Brightwaters FarmsĀ in Bay Shore is getting set to open its gates for the annual Fall Harvest, one of the biggest Halloween-time attractions in Suffolk County.

The Harvest kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 29, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 28.

The month-long farm celebration of all things autumn features jugglers, musicians and other performers, bounce houses for the kids, pumpkin beer and cider for the parents ā€” and real pumpkin patches where families are free to roam among the vines.

There’s also pony and hay rides, an assortment of farm animals and full concessions with fall food such as roasted corn, apple cider donuts and homemade baked pies.

It’s $10 to enter the farm and kids under 1 years old are free.

Brightwaters Farms, located at 1624 Manatuck Boulevard, will be open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturdays, Sundays and Columbus Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The festival shuts down on Mondays and Tuesdays, according to the Fall Harvest website.
