The four corners of downtown Brightwaters was teeming with families Sunday for the village’s first-ever Brightwaters Block Party.
The streets were closed from noon to 5 p.m. for the festival, which was organized by the Village of Brightwaters, Bay Shore Lions Club and the Brightwaters Business Association. There was live music, family games and activities, and plenty of food from the local eateries.
