A Freeport trust is $3 million richer after cashing in a winning New York Lottery scratch-off ticket on Monday.
The Ronald Stuckey Revocable Trust of Freeport claimed the top prize on the New York Lottery’s $3,000,000 Bonus Stars game, lottery officials said. The trust elected to take a one-time lump sum, walking away with $1,334,553 after required withholdings.
The winning ticket was purchased at Torres Deli & Grocery, located at 84A Broadway in Freeport.
One $3 million top prize remains unclaimed on the $3,000,000 Bonus Stars game, according to the lottery officials. Players can check how many top prizes remain on any scratch-off game by downloading the Game Report at nylottery.ny.gov.
