Suffolk Police are hunting for a man who walked out of a Coram Home Depot with nearly $1,000 worth of tools and drove off in a black sedan.
The theft happened about noon on Oct. 7 at the Home Depot at 346 Middle Country Road, according to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers.
Police released surveillance images Monday showing the suspect and his getaway car.
The man in the pictures has dark, shaggy hair and a mustache. He was wearing a black T-shirt with a large white-and-blue graphic on the front and appeared to be holding a cellphone.
A second image shows a dark four-door sedan in the store’s parking lot, with the passenger visible through the open window. The case is being investigated as a petit larceny.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
