Port Jeff’s Elijah Riley is activated to Eagles active roster

|

Port Jeff’s Elijah Riley is suiting up for his first NFL game today.

The defensive back, who starred at Army West Point, was elevated from the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday ahead of the team’s matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

After the 2020 draft, the Newfield High School alum signed a contract with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent. He was later cut and then re-signed to the team’s practice team.

Today’s game is in Pittsburgh and will begin at 1 p.m.
