It took some work, but the Greater Patchogue Historical Society was able to gather these great photos from around the time of the 1950s and 1960s in Patchogue and Medford.
Photos from this era are actually much harder to find than photos from a century ago, according to the historical society. So if you happen to find old shoeboxes filled with local photos, please email [email protected].
