The High Score Pinball Arcade is staying in Bay Shore’s Westfield South Shore Mall.
Melissa Cerquin officially opened High Score Pinball Arcade back in April, bringing back timeless pinball machines (and more) to Westfield South Shore.
She announced on Facebook last week that the lease has been extended until the end of the year, with plans to stay in 2022 as well.
Originally, the arcade was only going to operate in the mall for three months, but if it proved to be a viable business, Cerquin said in a previous greaterbayshore.com report that Westfield would grant them a permanent spot in the shopping center.
Inside there are over 45 pinball machines and several arcade cabinets in the space — some of the games date back to the 1960s and 1970s, while others are more recent or practically brand-new.
High Score Pinball Arcade is open every day from noon to 8 p.m. The rates for play are as follows:
- $10 for 15 minutes
- $15 for 30 minutes
- $20 for an hour
- $25 for two hours
- $35 all day
