Long Island’s SantaCon returns to Farmingdale

|

All the Santa Clauses are coming to town this weekend on Long Island.

That’s because SantaCon is back in Farmingdale on Saturday, Dec. 18, after being canceled last year.

The all-day, holiday-themed event starts at 11 a.m. and ends about 9 p.m. It’s a scene that draws hundreds of people each year eager to celebrate the holiday season.

All ticket proceeds benefit Toys of Hope, a New York charity that supports over 65,000 needy children, their families, and pets every year.

Here’s how to get in on the action.

To participate, people can purchase tickets in advance online here or on the day of the event.

Online tickets go for $25 and general admission at the event is $30.

Get wristbands at the registration point located at The Nutty Irishman (323 Main St.).

A wristband allows free entry and access to food and drinks specials at all participating establishments from noon-4 p.m., as well as free express entry to after-parties at The Nutty Irishman from 4-8 p.m.

Come dressed in your favorite holiday costumes or rep the official SantaCon gear.

Here’s a list of the participating businesses in Farmingdale:

  • Library Cafe
  • Whiskey Down Diner
  • That Meetball Place
  • Alibi Speakeasy
  • Vintage Wine Bar
  • Blue Hawaiian Bar
  • Daytona’s
  • Dark Horse Tavern
  • Farmingdale Brew Co.
  • Dominican Restaurant 4
  • The Nutty Irishman (After Party)

Most importantly, get ready to eat, drink and be merry.
