Redefine Meals founders Matt Riss and Mark Ciaburri have come a long way from delivering meals out of a Honda Accord years back.
The young owners are now set to building their business across Long Island, are introducing their quick, healthy meals to Babylon Village. Redefine Meal Prep’s seventh location is expected to open on July 20 at 255 Deer Park Ave., the former longtime home of Roomors (the store moved to Lindenhurst last month).
The grand opening day will go from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with the Redefine team planning to donate $1 per transaction that day to Babylon youth sports.
Frank Sharp, a West Islip native and Babylon resident, encouraged Riss to explore Babylon Village as a potential Redefine Meal Prep location, and will be a partner in the new spot.
“Babylon Village has such a lively energy to it,” Sharp said. “That is why we decided it would be the perfect location for our next store. Whether you’re headed to the gym, beach, school, or work, we will be open seven days a week and have over 70 healthy meal options for our customers to choose from.”
Redefine Meal Prep offers fresh, fully prepared meals delivered four times a week.
The team describes it as “a fun, healthy faster-food.”
Customers can choose single items or a meal package from the company’s online store (either 7, 10, 15, or 20 meals). They can also order a meal online and pick it up at any of the Redefine storefronts.
Those who need a quick bite can stop in for grab-and-go meals or browse Redefine’s line of healthy snacks and products. None of the meals are ever frozen. They are made at a kitchen in Ronkonkoma, and each is packaged in freezer-safe containers with specific heating instructions.
There are also various dietary options such as keto, vegan and vegetarian.
“Redefine is all about positively impacting its customers by fueling their active lifestyles,” Riss said. “Our grab-and-go model is the perfect way to keep nutrition easily accessible for residents. Plus, there’s no cooking involved.”
The team’s Babylon Village location will be the first of its kind for the company and their best-looking store so far, Riss previously told greaterbabylon.com.
“A growing trend in meal prep is catering to individual lifestyle choices,” Ciaburri said. “In Babylon, we will not only be unveiling an all-new look to the store, but also have it stocked with new, innovative healthy options that cater to these lifestyles.”
Busy schedules can make it difficult to find time to grocery shop and put together a meal, so Redefine Meal Prep does all the work to provide easy preparation.
“Meal prep has become one of the fastest growing industries of its niche…and we don’t see it stopping anytime soon”, said Jess Fallica, Redefine vice president. “Redefine takes all the preparation out of enjoying healthy, delicious meals, so you can get to where you’re going.”
