What better way to celebrate the crisp weather and autumn season in Babylon Village than with the Babylon Village Chamber’s annual Fall Harvest Festival and Street Fair?
Celebrating its 29th year, the family-friendly event happens on Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Babylon Village.
The festival features barbecue and specialty food served by Babylon Village restaurants, live entertainment all day long on two stages, rides, games, a petting zoo and pony rides, among other attractions.
At the South Stage (on the corner of Deer Park Avenue and Main Street), spectators can enjoy the Denice Given Band from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 1 Step Ahead from 3-6 p.m.
At the North Stage (on the corner of Deer Park Avenue and Park Avenue), Jetstream will play from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and The Showtime Rockers will follow with a performance from 3-6 p.m.
The Conklin House will host an Apples and Arts Festival that same day.
From Oct. 14-16, local Babylon Village businesses are hosting a sidewalk sale, which is a great opportunity for those looking to add some new pieces to their closet.
