The495’s 19th episode features Mount Sinai resident Andrew Preston, who is the founder of Local to Locals, and Joe Abruzzo of W A Meadwerks.

Local to Locals is a new certification company that tells consumers which businesses are locally owned and operated. Among the brand’s participants is Abruzzo, who founded his meadery in Lindenhurst earlier this year.

“When you support this logo or supporting the places or products, you can be confident the money you are spending is staying at home in the community,” said Preston during the podcast.
