After rave reviews, the operators of the Argyle Theatre are extending Mel Brook’s The Producers another week.
“It’s a real hit,” said Argyle’s co-owner Dylan Perlman on the musical.
The Producers, which debuted on March 14, will run four additional times, once on each of the following dates: April 24, 25, 26 and 27.
The Tony-award play follows the story of a once-successful Broadway producer who is in a rut. His accountant tallied the numbers from his recent failed show, where the producer realizes he can make more money by making flops and over-selling them.
