The air is getting crisper, the hot cocoa is starting to flow, and before you know it, it’ll be time to start twinkling the lights.
As the calendar marches toward the holidays, it’s time to dust off the classics and enjoy those feel-good films that help bring the magic of the season to life.
Be it the laughs, the love or the warmth and comfort that comes with nostalgia, just about all of us can identify a favorite film they just have to watch each year. But which holiday movie is the ultimate favorite of Long Islanders?
We’re leaving that up to you! Greater Long Island is running a festive poll to find out which holiday movies hold a special place in the hearts of our readers. From beloved classics like “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “White Christmas” to more modern hits like “Elf ” and “Four Christmases,” there are plenty to choose from.
Our poll is open now, and we’d like to hear from as many of our readers as possible. You can submit your favorite holiday films anytime between now and midnight on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, Nov. 27. After the deadline, we’ll tally the results and share your top picks just in time for the holiday festivities.
So start thinking about your go-to holiday flicks, and let your voice be heard in our magical Long Island holiday movie poll below.
