Bay Shore is kicking off a new summer tradition.
The Twilight Market, a weekly outdoor event celebrating local artisans, food, and music, launches this Friday, July 11, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Bay Shore Bandshell, located at 80 West Main Street in the heart of downtown.
The market will run every Friday night through Sept. 26.
What to expect
Visitors can shop from 10 different vendors offering handcrafted goods, art, jewelry, home décor, and specialty foods. Local eateries and pop-up culinary talents will also be on hand — including an ice cream truck for the kids (and kids at heart).
Live music starts at 6 p.m. with a performance from Jazz and Sean, creating what organizers describe as “the perfect tone as you stroll, shop, and savor everything the market has to offer.”
The event is family-friendly and free to attend.
Each week will feature different vendors and surprises, offering something new with every visit.
