Alive After Five returns to Patchogue for its 25th anniversary season

|

One of Long Island’s largest street festivals is returning to downtown Patchogue this summer for a milestone season.

Alive After Five will celebrate its 25th anniversary with four Thursday night events scheduled for July 2, July 16, July 30 and Aug. 13.

A rain date is set for Aug. 20.

Each festival will run from 5 to 9 p.m. along Main Street, stretching from West Avenue to Maple Avenue.

The popular summer series draws an estimated 15,000 to 25,000 visitors each night and transforms downtown Patchogue into a sprawling outdoor celebration.

Attendees can expect live musical performances across at least five stages, more than 120 vendors, food and drinks, face painting and other children’s activities.

Additional entertainment and event details are expected to be announced ahead of the opening night.

Say cheese: GLI will be boots on the ground, snapping photos of each great day. If you see us, smile!
