All about Bayberry’s new $40 prix fixe — and a great Happy Hour in Islip


Take a step inside Bayberry, the latest concept from Lessing’s Hospitality Group.

This American Bistro is nestled in the heart of Islip on Main Street and is a family legacy, born out of a shared passion for high-quality dining and remarkable hospitality.

The kitchen is led by Executive Chef William Muzio, whose menus highlight local-catches, fresh ingredients, and innovative creations. Experience a refreshed and brightened design with an elevated dining experience that blends bistro classics, imaginative cocktails, and a commitment to showcasing the best of local and seasonal fare and bounty. 

That said, Bayberry has recently introduced a “40/40 Vine and Dine” menu!

Available every Monday through Thursday from 4 to 6:30 p.m., diners can enjoy a three-course menu for just $40, with select bottles of wine available for an additional $40. Start off with The Lessing’s’ famous Chickpea Fries served with harissa aioli, followed by the Grilled Atlantic Swordfish Basquaise with a roasted vegetable-chorizo ragout and grilled lemon. End the night on a sweet note with Blackberry Tres Leches and wash it all down with a bottle of Lessing’s Local White. Sounds like the perfect date night to us! 

Need a new spot during the week? Bayberry hosts a Happy Hour every week, Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at their convivial bar featuring 40 seats. Stop by after work and nosh on $10 bar bites while enjoying 50 percent off all bar drinks!
