Argyle Jewelers celebrates its move with a grand opening April 14

|

After moving up the block into a larger location in September, Argyle Jewelers is all settled in and has a grand opening planned for next week.

To celebrate, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by food tastings at the new 216 Deer Park Avenue location on Saturday, April 14, starting at 1 p.m.

The family-owned jeweler, which has been in the Babylon Village since 1988, moved from its spot next to the old Lo-Man Outdoor Store for a larger space.

“It’s bigger, it’s much more inviting,” said Argyle’s owner, Joe Tavella, on the new store. “It really fits the village from our copper ceiling to vintage walls.”

Another reason for the move was the nice addition of a 28-space parking lot that is now available for customers.

“The new parking is really important to me.” Tavella previously told GreaterBabylon. “[My customers] can now drive up the driveway and park in the back.”
