Babylon Village’s Spring Fling returns this weekend

|

The highly-anticipated Spring Fling Art and Music Festival is all set to return to Babylon Village this weekend.

The popular event, which was canceled last year due to the pandemic, will happen Saturday in downtown Babylon, between 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Fling is run by the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, and features live musical performances, merchant sidewalk sale and plenty of fun for kids. There’s also a hugely popular chalk art contest on James Street (click here to register).

As usual, Deer Park Avenue will be closed between Main Street and Railroad Avenue for the Fling.

Live music will be stationed in front of Jack Jack’s Coffee House, Mary Carroll’s and The Brixton, Babylon Burger Bar, and on Main Street in front of Hitch LI.

The Spring Fling has a raindate set for May 22; the times are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Also on Saturday

The Babylon Village Arts Council will be hosting its 13th annual “Art by the Falls” outdoor art exhibit at Argyle Park. This will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Click here for more details.
