Bay Shore is getting more fun this summer.
The Bay Shore Restaurant Committee, the group that runs the popular Alive by the Bay festivals in downtown Bay Shore, has just announced the dates for this year’s series, adding a fifth date for the first time since its inception in 2017. During its inaugural year, the street festival featured three dates. Last year there were four. You can revisit our first article ever on Alive by the Bay for a trip down memory lane.
This year’s dates are June 25, July 9, July 23, Aug. 13, and Aug. 20, all falling on Tuesdays from 5-9 p.m. There will be no rain date, a spokesperson from the Bay Shore Restaurant Committee confirmed to GLI.
Each day will see road closures on Main Street to make way for live music, street vendors, and fun activities.
