Tick season is here. AFC Urgent Care says don’t wait if you’ve been bitten
If you’ve been bitten by a tick — or you’re feeling symptoms like a rash, fever, fatigue or joint pain — the team at AFC Urgent Care says it’s important to act fast.
That’s because ticks can carry Lyme disease and other serious illnesses, and early treatment can help prevent long-term complications.
At AFC, medical professionals can safely remove ticks, perform a full physical exam, and order blood tests if needed.
No appointment is necessary. Just walk in.
AFC Urgent Care is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Locations: East Meadow, Farmingdale, Patchogue, and West Islip.
