Police said two men were wounded in a 4 a.m. shooting Friday while driving on the Sagtikos State Parkway in Brentwood.
The victims are both 24 years old and related to one another, police said. The two men were heading north in separate vehicles about a quarter-mile north of Pine Aire Drive, police said, when someone in another vehicle opened fire.
One of the men drove to the Suffolk Police’s Second Precinct, where he was helped by officers and then taken to South Shore University Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his lower back.
Bullets struck the second victim on the wrist and thigh. He drove himself to Huntington Hospital.
Police described both men’s injuries as non-life-threatening.
