It’s go time.
Buffalo Wild Wings GO is now open in Bellmore.
The GO concept, launched in 2020, is designed to streamline the ordering process for both dine-in and takeout customers.
The local Bellmore franchisee hosted a grand opening bash Monday at 2760 Sunrise Highway.
Bellmore also marks the third GO location on Long Island, and first in Nassau.
“We are excited to bring the BWW GO concept to the Bellmore neighborhood, offering guests the food that they love in a concept streamlined for delivery and take-out services,” said the Bellmore spot’s newly minted owner, Jack Litman.
“”Our team is eager to share our passion for great food and can’t wait to open our doors to welcome the community for the first time!”
A Buffalo Wild Wings representative said there are other locations on the Island in the works, as well, though couldn’t detail where or when another would open.
At Buffalo Wild Wings GO, guests have the option to order takeout or delivery, as well as in-store seating for dining.
The new location offers traditional and boneless wings, hand-breaded tenders, chicken sandwiches, burgers, sides and all 27 Buffalo Wild Wings signature sauces and dry rubs.
The 1,500 square-foot restaurant employs 20 crew members and operates daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Here’s what John Bowie, president of Buffalo Wild Wings, told Urban Milwaukee about a GO location that opened there in December 2023:
“Our takeout and delivery business grew significantly over the past two years as guests across America enjoyed our award-winning wings, sauces and other menu items at home. With great deals every day of the week on wings and bundles at GO, customers have one more way to enjoy our wings for any occasion, from game day lunch to family dinner.”
According to industry reports, the very first Buffalo Wild Wings location opened in Columbus, Oh., in 1982 before franchising about a decade later.
It’s now part of Inspire Brands, also the owners of Dunkin, SONIC, Jimmy John’s, Arby’s and Baskin-Robbins.
The first Buffalo Wild Wings GO location on Long Island opened in Shirley in March 2024.
