Downtown Huntington is set to transform into a magical Winter Wonderland once again — and this year, comedian and “Impractical Jokers” alum Joe Gatto will help kick off the celebration.
Gatto will host the tree-lighting ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 30, officially starting the Holiday Spectacular. The lighting is set for 6:30 p.m. after the village’s holiday parade. The Satin Dollz will also be performing live.
Now in its fourth year, the Holiday Spectacular has become a cherished local tradition. The festivities take over Wall Street, which is closed to vehicles, to make way for holiday activities.
The centerpiece of the celebration? An 80-foot Christmas tree, adorned with dazzling decorations and surrounded by falling “snow.”
Visitors can also look forward to appearances by Santa Claus, ice sculpture displays, a holiday market on select days, and plenty of seasonal cheer. [Click here for a full schedule of events.]
The Holiday Spectacular runs through Jan. 2.
The event is organized by the Huntington Village Business Improvement District and sponsored by Huntington Hospital Northwell Health.
