A 57-year-old man was struck by a motorcycle in Roosevelt on Thursday morning, police said.
And the rider’s face was partially covered, despite the summer heat.
It happened just after 7 a.m. as the pedestrian was trying to cross Nassau Road near Grenada Avenue, according to Nassau County police.
After hitting the man, the motorcyclist then crashed into a car that was stuck in traffic before speeding off. The victim was taken to the hospital with a cut on his leg and stomach pain. No one else was injured.
The suspect is described as a man with a medium build, last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, a black backpack — and with part of his face obscured.
Police also released the below video of the suspect.
