The East End just got a little crazier.
Crazy Pizza — the global restaurant phenomenon known for its ultra-thin crusts, DJ sets and high-energy pizza performances — opened its doors late last month at 47 Montauk Highway in East Hampton.
The new hot spot, which follows the brand’s splashy SoHo debut in 2024, arrived June 26 with ample fanfare and boatloads of mozzarella.
This isn’t your Pop’s pizzeria. Guests at Crazy Pizza East Hampton are treated to a full-blown dining spectacle: pizzaiolos spin and flip dough high above their heads — and yours — in a rhythmic performance that turns pizza-making into performance art.
Pizza with personality — they say.
Backed by Majestas and the Altamarea Group, Crazy Pizza serves up classic Italian dishes and paper-thin crusts topped with decadent ingredients. Yes, we’re talking truffles and caviar.
Everything is made from scratch, using ingredients sourced from Italy. And the vibe — it’s anything but subdued.
“It’s already a go-to for a fun night out,” commented local real estate broker Katie Milligan on Facebook, noting that the “tableside mozzarella” and “signature thin crust pies” make it a must-add to your summer dinner list.
The East Hampton outpost marks the latest expansion for the Crazy Pizza brand, which now boasts locations in — among a bunch of other sexy locales — Rome, Monte Carlo, London, Milan, Ibiza, Bahrain and St. Moritz.
The new restaurant supplants the former Kizzy T’s burger joint and features a lively terrace scene made for summer nights and starlit sights.
Reservations are strongly recommended. That’s because Crazy Pizza’s signature “Spinning Chefs” and their dough-slinging dance moves are quickly becoming a Hamptons summer staple.
As one guest put it: “No trip to Crazy Pizza is complete without the show.”
