The Long Island tour continues for David Beckham.
A day after making an appearance at JCPenney at the Roosevelt Field Mall for the launch of his new venture, “The Collection,” an affordable line of three colognes, the global soccer icon returned to the island on Friday as a featured speaker for the Long Island Association’s Fall Luncheon.
The Long Island Association (LIA), a nonprofit organization with a mission to promote businesses in both Suffolk and Nassau counties, hosted its event at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.
Here’s a clip of Beckham speaking in front of a packed crowd.
Beckham’s appearances come soon after the release of Netflix’s four-part docuseries, “Beckham.”
The series blends Beckham’s love story with his wife Victoria and his impressive journey through the world of professional soccer, which has solidified his status as one of the sport’s — if not the world’s — most recognizable figures.
With a net worth of over $450 million, Beckham’s influence extends beyond sports into various businesses, from fashion to fragrance.
