Del Vino is Long Island’s only spot to crack OpenTable’s Top 100 restaurants for 2024

|

For four years running, Del Vino Vineyards in Northport has landed on OpenTable’s Top 100 Restaurants in America list for 2024.

It was Long Island’s only representation this year, and just one of seven New York restaurants to win the recognition. Five of those were from Brooklyn or Manhattan, with a sixth, Lucia’s on the Lake, hailing from the upstate Buffalo area (Hamburg).

Any named restaurant has to utilize the popular OpenTable platform, but it’s a very large sample size.

“This year’s Top 100 list reflects the breadth of restaurants on OpenTable …” said Debby Soo, CEO of OpenTable. “I couldn’t be prouder of every restaurant that made this list for their incredible efforts to deliver hospitality to their guests at every turn. For diners, there’s something for everyone on this list. It’s an amazing hit list for locals and travelers too.”

Del Vino Vineyards first opened in 2018, and has been perpetually packed ever since.

The owners of the 10-acre property inspired by the villas of Tuscany promise any visitor the enjoyment of fine wine, along with an “unforgettable culinary experience.” Click here for the full menu.

Last year, OpenTable recognized two Long Island restaurants, Del Vino Vineyards and The Farm Italy in Huntington.

“This prestigious recognition is a true testament to our commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences,” reads a statement from the vineyard, acknowledging the honor.

“Del Vino Vineyards is proud to represent Long Island as the only restaurant from the region on this year’s list.”

If you go

The vineyard is a 1.2-mile drive from the heart of Northport Village.

Reservations are encouraged, and walk-ins are welcome at the tasting room bar, according to Del Vino. Tables can be booked for up to 10 people. For larger groups up to 35 people, patrons are asked to email [email protected].
