The East Hampton mansion where hip hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs hosted his iconic White Parties for years over Labor Day weekend is back on the market.
The modern, waterfront home at 40 Hedges Banks Drive — featuring double-height ceilings, a distinctive curved wall bar and pearly white interiors — can be had for $5.995 million.
The home leaves nothing for want, delivering the level of opulence and comfort folks have come to expect in East Hampton. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the manicured grounds and water beyond, its state-of-the-art kitchen frames a stunning view of the Long Island Sound, and a gorgeous cabana overlooks the pool.
The 4,500-square-foot home has four bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms, and the property size is barely shy of an acre.
‘Modern-day Gatsby’
Diddy hosted his first White Party at 40 Hedges Banks Drive in 1998, shortly after purchasing the home. His 1,000-person guest list was a who’s who in entertainment, sports, business, etc., etc.
White Party guest Paris Hilton called Diddy a “modern-day Gatsby.” Martha Stewart told The Hollywood Reporter how impressed she was that Diddy was able to impose a strict head-to-toe white dress code.
“Having an entire party all dressed in white was a stunning sight,” she said.

Diddy sold the house for $4.7 million in 2020, property records show.
