After serving generations of customers, Domenico’s Pizza in Levittown has officially closed its doors.
The family-owned pizzeria announced the news via social media, thanking the community for 58 years of support and memories.
“To all of our customers and friends, we are incredibly sad to announce our last day of business will be June 29th,” read the heartfelt message. “We want to thank you all for the last 58 years of unforgettable memories.”
The longtime staple on Hempstead Turnpike had become a go-to for locals and visitors alike, known for its classic pies, pasta dishes, and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
In their farewell statement, the Domenico’s team left a door open for the future.
“We are hopeful that this is not our last chapter but as of right now nothing is concrete,” they wrote.
The post was met with many comments from loyal patrons sharing their memories and gratitude.
“Thank you,” the Domenico’s family concluded in the post.
