About 300 people hit Babylon Village’s downtown for the Fourth Annual Shopping Crawl this past weekend.
“It was a wonderfully successful event,” said Kelly Peckholdt of the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, which ran Sunday’s event.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., each shopper was able to navigate the day’s deals with a map that came courtesy of the chamber.
There were retailers, restaurants, and bars participating in the day. In addition to getting a leg up on the holiday shopping, shoppers also got the chance to win raffle prizes.
“All of our participating stores donated raffle items, and we had approximately 25 large baskets to raffle off,” said Peckholdt.
The more they shopped, the more raffles, and better chances of winning, said the chamber.
Those prizes were given away at the after party hosted by Monsoon.
