This past summer Ian Coughlin opened his dream Mexican restaurant in the the former Barn Door 49 spot in Bay Shore.
When he took over the space, his vision was simple.
Make a place that offers authentic Mexican cuisine, awesome cocktails and a friendly atmosphere, he previously told GreaterBayShore.
“We wanted to bring something new, innovative, sexy and modern to the scene,” he said.
Another focus of Coughlin’s was what is behind the bar.
“While we are a restaurant first, we do have a nice bar centered around tequila,” he said. “We are hoping to curate up to 300 bottles.”
And he can vouch for everything in Pecado’s selection.
“I will not sell anything that I do not like,” said Coughlin.
Coughlin, also a partner in Rockville Centre’s Mesita, gave GreaterBayShore a tour of his new establishment at 49 W. Main St.
