Families and friends headed to downtown Sayville this weekend for one of the island’s premier summer festivals.
The Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Summerfest August 5, 6 and 7. Craftspeople and other vendors lined the downtown Sayville area, while bands performed on stages and the Sayville Fire Department and various dancers held live exhibitions and demonstrations.
Gillette Park was packed with carnival games, rides, cotton candy and other treats for children and children at heart.
