Hundreds of seafood and live music lovers flocked to the Long Island Maritime Museum in West Sayville this weekend for the annual Long Island Seafood Festival.
The 2024 edition of the event, held on Saturday and Sunday, offered a feast for the senses, with fresh local seafood, live music, and craft vendors filling the grounds.
Blue Island Oyster Company and Claws Seafood Market, both based in West Sayville, provided a seemingly endless supply of shellfish — shucking oysters and serving up clams, fried shrimp, lobster rolls and treats from the sea. For those less inclined toward seafood, a variety of food trucks offered alternative options to satisfy all tastes.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, rock, country, blues, and tribute bands played across both days. The event also featured a host of family-friendly activities.
Brianna Harmon of Harmonizer Media was there to capture the lively scenes and vibrant energy through her camera lens.
