Anyone who missed Patchogue’s St. Patrick’s Day parade is sure to be green with envy.
The annual tradition, jointly hosted by Greater Patchogue Foundation’s Cultural Heritage Committee and Patchogue Village, featured bagpipe-blowing and snare-snapping marching bands, spangly, shamrock-covered floats and even a gang of green dinosaurs. Matt Lowe and Joe Palmeri, who have owned Reese’s 1900 pub for 18 years, marched down Main Street as this year’s grand marshals.
GreaterPatchogue photographed the floats, families and friends who made downtown Patchogue come alive this St. Patrick’s Day.
