It’s a huge day in Bellport, where the Bellport Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Halloween Parade on Main Street. And chamber leaders have been hinting at something really unique this year that they promise won’t disappoint.
Staging starts at 11:30 a.m. in front the firehouse, with festivities kicking off at noon.
At about that same time, though running much later, until 5 p.m., the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce has organized for the local shops to participate in trick-or-treating for kids over 3.
Tokens and prizes will be given to children. The tokens should be taken to the Pumpkin Patch at Roast Coffee & Tea Trading Company, located at 41 East Main Street, for an extra prize.
The adults are all then encouraged to take in the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Patchogue Theatre for Performing Arts that night. It runs from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Patchogue Village.
There’s also a Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis Tribute Show at the Patchogue theater Sunday afternoon.
